Kantor dan Gallery Gubuakkopi

In 1965 the Labor Meeting Building (GPB) changed its name to the Employee Meeting Building (GPK). During this time the building was used by members of the Communist Party as meeting rooms and every week members of the Communist Party held bazaars (cheap markets) with the aim of recruiting new members into the communist party by means of those who shop to sign that they have joined the party Communist. In the 1970s, this building was converted into a coal mine employee housing until 2004 and from 2004 to 2007 became a community residence. With the research from the Batusangkar Archaeological Preservation Center (BP3) in early 2007 stating that the GPB building was not included in the protected Cultural Heritage (BCB) category, the building was finally demolished. At the end of 2007 with the subsidy fund for the Development of Regional Cultural Wealth from the Directorate General of History and Antiquities, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, a new building (Info Box) was built to establish the Sawahlunto City Coal Mine Museum.
