The Pucak Botanical Garden is owned by the South Sulawesi Provincial Government with an area of ​​120 ha. At first, this area was an Educational Tourism Park which was later converted into a botanical garden. The theme of the development of the Pucak Botanical Garden is “Agro Botanical Garden”, which is economic conservation of plants. The Pucak Botanical Garden is expected to be the center of research and development of economic or potential economic plants, especially plants producing food, clothing, shelter, medicines, fruits and plants that have decorative or aesthetic value.
