Tanjung Puri Tabalong Botanical Garden is one of three Botanical Gardens in South Kalimantan Province. The location of Tanjung Puri Tabalong Botanical Garden is located in Kasiau Village, Murung Pudak District, Tabalong Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The name Tanjung Puri comes from the royal name that used to be in Tabalong Regency. The theme of the collection of plants in the Tanjung Puri Tabalong Botanical Garden is the conservation of Kalimantan’s pamah forest plants with the icon (mascot) of the plant is langsat (Lansium parasiticum (Osbeck) K.C.Sahni & Bennet). Langsat plants in Tabalong Regency are local plants that are widely cultivated by the community and of high economic value. The construction of the Tanjung Puri Tabalong Botanical Garden began in 2016 with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between LIPI and the Tabalong District Government and the preparation of the Master Plan in 2017. The management of the Tanjung Puri Botanical Gardens is under the management of the Tabalong District Environmental Service.
