Kelapa Kembar

This palm species has a unique fruit with several seeds in the palm of his so-called twin. This tree takes approximately 6 to 7 years to bear fruit and 2 years to germinate. Collection of trees imported from Seychelle islands and Bogor Botanical Garden has only tree species females only. A group of researchers have carried out artificial pollination to pollinate the female flowers with pollen brought from the Botanical Gardens Singapore and Thailand.
