Boyolali is a district that is fully committed to developing and saving the environment, various programs have been launched in 2015 as a manifestation of the regent’s vision, one of which is the construction of the Indrokilo Boyolali Botanical Garden, this botanical garden is expected to be a place of conservation, education and recreation for Boyolali Regency residents in particular and the general public in general. Indrokilo Botanical Garden Boyolali is expected to be a place to save plants which is threatened by habitat degradation.
The Indrokili Botanical Garden is located in Kemiri Village, Mojosongo Subdistrict, Boyolali Regency which can be reached in about 5 minutes from the central government of Boyolali Regency. The Indrokilo Boyolali Botanical Garden has an area of ​​8.9 hectares which was previously the village treasury. There is a cultural site adjacent to the Indrokilo Botanical Garden, the Indrokilo cemetery. The Indrokilo Boyolali Botanical Garden has the theme “Lowland Rainforest Plants in Eastern Java”.
