- Skills Required: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Use of rapid response teams, Feeding tube care and management, Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardia drips- no titration, PCA, Titrate Cardiac drips, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula, Tracheostomy Management
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH
- 2 years of oncology experience preferred
- Oncology experience preferred but not required
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Skills Preferred: Management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Phlebotomy, Chemotherapy Administration, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Arterial line management, Surgical drains, Non-invasive airway management

18 James - PCU HIGH ACUITY -12 NIGHTS - AYA OFFERONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED!Unit Information:• Medical Oncology with progressive care beds/pediatric patients.• High acuity of PCU and small amount of med surgSchedule:• No set schedule, no set weekends, no block schedule.• Facility determines the complete schedule, with the possibility of working every weekend. Must be flexible.• Maximum 7 straight days off.• 14-week contract required if taking 7 days off.Patient Diagnoses:• Solid Tumor• Orthopedic Oncology• Thoracic OncologySpecial Procedures/Unit Details:•18J is a 36 bed Oncology Telemetry unit with over 24 beds dedicated to PCU level of care.-Pediatric patients are cared for on this unit but are extremely rare and would likely be cared for by perm staff.
