New opportunity for a board eligible, board-certified surgeon - fellowship trained in surgical critical care, to join Flagstaff Medical Center's trauma program. Flagstaff Medical Center has more than 275 inpatient beds and is a State Level 1 Trauma Center and a regional referral center for all of Northern Arizona. Position includes: Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, and Emergency General Surgery. The Surgical ICU has 10 beds, and the program has 4 full-time trauma nurse practitioners and two surgical residents. Clinic is an average of one day per month. Flagstaff is a culturally diverse, picturesque, mountain and university community with four seasons. The town sits at 7,000 feet, nestled in the world's largest Ponderosa pine forest. Flagstaff is a great community for raising a family and for outdoor recreational activities. Flagstaff is only 2 hours from Phoenix; 1 hour from the Grand Canyon; 30 minutes from Sedona and 10 minutes from Snowbowl Ski Resort.
