Bayview Physicians Group Posted Nov 12, 2024 Bayview Physicians Group has an immediate opportunity available for a BE/BC General Surgeon to join its team of multi-specialists in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The interested candidate will have the opportunity to provide evaluation and comprehensive treatment of complex patients in state-of-the-art facilities using the latest advanced medical technologies. Sentara Virginia Beach General is a busy level 3 trauma center with approximately 2000 trauma patients evaluated and treated here per year. We have very high emergency general surgery volumes with a dedicated trauma/emergency general surgery add on room with approximately 3-4 add on cases per day. We have daily APP coverage. No in-house night call. Separate in-house dedicated critical care physician to provide critical needs for all our patients. No surgical critical care requirements. Opportunity to be involved in critical care for interested candidates. The candidate will join an existing group of eight, experienced general surgeons who specialize in critical care, surgical oncology, emergency general surgery, breast, gastrointestinal, and trauma surgeries.
