Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a TOUR SAFETY and SECURITY MANAGER to become an integral part of our team. MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL on tour for approximately 10 months consecutively. The selected individual will access, manage and secure assigned premises, as well as identify and mitigate risks to staff, patrons and visitors. Monitors premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises. Monitors access or flow of people to prevent problems. Locks doors and gates of entrances and exits to secure premises and buildings. Expels persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts. Request emergency personnel for high risk situations or in cases of emergency, such as fire or the need for medical assistance. Works directly with local security staff, law enforcement, EMS and other safety and security agency officials. Escorts or drives motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations as needed.
CREDENTIALS: Must have high school diploma with (3) years previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related field. Familiarity with safety and security equipment including metal detectors, scanners, radios, cameras, traffic barriers, cones and directional signs. Ability to handle physical workload and have a strong attention to detail.
