Job Details Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of solar installers, ensuring all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all aspects of solar installation projects, from planning to execution and final inspection.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with company standards and OSHA regulations.
- Training and mentoring team members, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
- Managing materials and inventory, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available for each project.
- Coordinating with other departments and stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and clients.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during the installation process.
- Conducting quality control inspections to ensure all work meets or exceeds expectations.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the solar industry, with a focus on installation.
- Proven experience as a foreman or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to train and mentor team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on the job.
- Ability to manage materials and inventory effectively.
- Familiarity with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- A commitment to promoting a culture of safety, excellence, and respect.
