Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Details Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the entire payroll process, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
2. Administer the company's benefits programs, including health, life, disability, and retirement plans.
3. Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to payroll and benefits.
4. Utilize UKG and ADP WFN payroll systems to process payroll and maintain employee records.
5. Resolve any payroll or benefits discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.
6. Prepare and submit reports detailing payroll, deductions, leave, disability, nontaxable wages, etc.
7. Coordinate with HR team to ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires, temporary workers, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
8. Stay current with changes in payroll and benefits regulations and laws.
9. Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs, and recommend corrective action.
10. Provide excellent customer service by answering employee requests and questions about payroll and benefits.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field, highly preferred
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration, preferably in the Engineering industry.
3. Proficiency in UKG and ADP WFN payroll systems.
4. In-depth knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
5. Strong knowledge of benefits structures and experience administering employee benefits.
6. Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes.
7. Knowledge of payroll compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
8. Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
9. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work.
10. Strong communication and customer service skills.
11. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
12. Professional certification like Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) will be a plus.
