Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic  Senior Healthcare Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier healthcare professionals for a variety of clinical and non-clinical positions across our organization. You will also be expected to build relationships on the client side to add to, ideally, an existing book of business. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, a proven track record in recruiting high-demand healthcare talent, and a passion for building strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet the hiring needs of the healthcare organization.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for clinical and non-clinical roles, including physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, administrative staff, and leadership positions.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from initial job posting through offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods (job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and passive candidate search) to build a strong pipeline of candidates.

 

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with hiring managers, department leaders, and HR teams to understand workforce needs, organizational culture, and position requirements.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, ensuring effective communication and timely feedback.
  • Partner with the HR team to streamline the hiring process, from job requisition to new hire onboarding.

 

Candidate Experience:

  • Foster positive relationships with candidates, ensuring a smooth and professional experience throughout the interview and hiring process.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for healthcare recruitment, answering candidate questions about roles, benefits, and the healthcare environment.
  • Lead initiatives to improve candidate experience and retention throughout the hiring process.

 

Market Intelligence & Reporting:

  • Stay up-to-date on healthcare industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and market conditions to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on recruitment metrics, progress, and challenges.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend process improvements to enhance recruitment outcomes.

 

Compliance & Best Practices:

  • Maintain thorough records of candidate interactions and hiring processes in accordance with company policies and data privacy laws.

 

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in healthcare recruitment or talent acquisition, with a proven track record of successfully filling a wide range of healthcare positions.
  • Experience recruiting for both clinical (e.g., physicians, nurses, allied health) and non-clinical (e.g., administrative, operations, management) roles.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry staffing needs, terminology, and trends.
  • Expertise in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and negotiating offers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse candidates and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.

 

  • Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.
