Purchasing Assistant Pay dependent on experience $18-$21/hour Fresno, CA; In Office Description Under the supervision of the Director of Inventory, use various sources of data to determine needs and purchase material in a timely fashion for various groups within the organization. This position will work with several team members and assist the inventory team as well as warehouse and field managers. Job Duties

• Placing and tracking purchase orders.
• Coordinate with production and warehouse staff to ensure products are purchased at the right time.
• Research new suppliers and make recommendations to the director of inventory and production managers.
• Planning, monitoring, and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
• Other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualities we are seeking in a candidate.

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree or B.Sc. in a business discipline preferred)
• Experience in a purchasing position or Knowledge of purchasing functions, inventory, and supply management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience with spreadsheet computer applications
• Experience with CRM software
• Ability to research, solve problems, and do difficult tasks.
