About the Role

We’re seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our Account Manager, who serves as the primary point of contact for clients. The Project Manager will focus on managing project resources, including budgets, team members, timelines, and scopes, to ensure every project is executed efficiently and meets Devote’s high standards.

This position can be filled in either our Birmingham, AL, or Columbia, SC office. If you thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment and love bringing order to chaos, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Project Management:

◦ Manage the forecasting, execution, and delivery of multiple creative projects simultaneously.

◦ Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, budgets, and scopes. 

◦ Monitor project progress and profitability and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and deliverables.

Team Coordination:

◦ Allocate and manage resources across projects, including assigning tasks to team members.

◦ Collaborate with designers, strategists, and other team members to ensure alignment and productivity.

◦ Host internal check-ins and project reviews to maintain clarity and progress.

Collaboration with Account Manager:

◦ Receive input and insights from the Account Manager regarding client expectations and deliverables.

◦ Translate client needs into actionable project plans.

Tool Utilization:

◦ Use project management tools such as Monday.com or Productive.io to track and manage projects.

◦ Continuously refine workflows and tools to improve efficiency.

• Quality Control:

◦ Review deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with project goals.

◦ Ensure all work adheres to Devote’s creative standards and brand guidelines.

• Process Optimization:

◦ Evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities to improve workflows and resource allocation.

◦ Provide feedback on processes to enhance team efficiency and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Experience:

◦ 2-3 years of project management experience in a creative studio, branding agency, or related field.

◦ Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects from start to finish.

Skills:

◦ Exceptional organizational skills with acute attention to detail.

◦ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

◦ Proficiency in project management tools like Monday.com or Productive.io.

◦ Familiarity with creative workflows and processes, including branding, graphic design, and digital marketing.

Preferred but Not Required:

◦ A background or interest in design is a plus but not necessary for the role.
