**Portfolio Associate General Manager, Central- REMOTE**

**The Role**
Kasas Portfolio General Managers are the backbone of our operations and serve as Mini-CEOs over a set of markets and properties where Kasa operates its short term rental and hotel services.
The Portfolio Associate GM for the Central Region oversees a growing portfolio of 100+ units spread across a number of exciting metro markets in the Midwest and South, and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of their day to day management, long range strategy, and financial performance. You will lead and expand a top performing team of field operations and portfolio-level team members who deliver incredible results to our guests and property partners every day.

You will have the opportunity to strategically collaborate with many other teams that support our operations with the goal of increasing partner performance. Collaboration opportunities include partnering with Finance, Revenue Management, and Marketing to drive top-line revenue; working closely with the Real Estate team to understand deal pipeline, deal terms, and partner expectations; and leading a team of Operations Managers, Coordinators, and front line teams who will support you in ensuring we deliver profitable operations to our partners.
**Day in the life of a Kasa Portfolio General Manager**
Like any P&L leadership position, there is no typical day. To deliver on the role outlined above, we expect the Associate General Manager to be strategic in their weekly and monthly responsibilities, all with the overarching goal of maximizing performance.
Each day your work will range from monitoring weekly and monthly financial performance to following up on any impactful issues or events in your markets that could impact our team or partners. You will have weekly touchpoints with the Revenue team to understand and move the needle on financial performance. Monthly you will be accountable to review and write up the financial performance for all of your buildings.
Each week you will review priorities with the team and discuss high visibility events for the week (VIP's, Partner meetings etc.) . You will review weekly performance metrics and discuss trends in the quality data. You will play a key role in aligning your teams priorities, setting the standard for how they collaborate, and pushing them forward on narrowing their focuses on execution.
You will also be the second line of defense for escalations and Partnership discussions with your Building Partners and Leasing Offices behind your team of Operations managers and executors. Your monthly financial reporting will also directly interface with high-level Building Owners and Asset Managers.
You will own a subset of Kasas culture within your team, and one of your ultimate goals will be providing an incredible environment in which your team can engage, grow and succeed. This will involve interfacing with Hospitality Programs, People Ops, Revenue, Marketing, and the Real Estate team every month to push forward pilots, initiatives, and program modifications for your team.
**Experience**
* 5+ years in a managerial role in Startup Operations, Hospitality management, property management, professional services, or other related fields
* At least 3 years of experience managing a team of at least 3 direct reports
* Bachelors degree or equivalent years of work experience
* Profitability analysis- Familiarity with P&Ls in hotels, MF Real Estate operations or similar
* Culture builder- You know how to create relationships first, to enable important vendor and partner partnerships. Your team will see you as their primary coach and promoter.
* Strong Communicator - You are able to clearly and concisely communicate both verbally and in writing. You are extremely comfortable on the phone and with email.
* Responsive & Trusted Partner - Colleagues or customers know that they can rely on you to solve problems. You take meticulous notes and follow up after every call.
* Analytical by nature - You are comfortable with Financial Statements, able to glean insights from numbers, and know-how to create plans that drive profitability
* Mentor and Leader - You have a strong EQ, and are able to generate deep empathy with guests and team members, which enables you to actively listen and implement feedback
* Travel is part of your DNA and you have a passion for the real estate, tech, and hospitality industry

* Influenced multiple new product launches by partnering with the Hospitality Programs, Product or Training team
