*PRN Physical Therapy Assistant*

Heritage is seeking a *PRN PTA *for our Ravenna (*Longmeadow*) location. *Coverage is needed for weekends* (flexible w/ Saturday or Sunday), overflow of caseload, call offs, and vacations.

*Starting rate* for this location is *$30/hr* pending relative experience

Heritage Therapy provides high-quality physical, occupational, and speech therapies and rehabilitation at many of our Embassy Healthcare Facilities.

The therapy gym is spacious and equipped with all the tools that a therapist needs to provide the most effective treatment interventions.

**Duties:**

- Support licensed Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.

- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with therapeutic exercises and modalities.

- Accurately and promptly document patient progress.

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.

**Experience:**

- Previous experience or knowledge in hospital medicine, acute care, inpatient settings, clinics, geriatrics, orthopedics, occupational health, or hospital environments is advantageous.

- Familiarity with medical terminology and physiology is beneficial.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
