Salary Range: $60K to $65K
Shift: Mon-Fri/8a-5p(Variable, Including Occasional Shift Support)

Position Summary

LEAD Technical is seeking an Occupational Nurse to join our clients team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for implementing workplace health and safety programs, providing medical aid to employees, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to employee well-being, workplace safety, and risk mitigation.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Provide immediate medical aid to employees experiencing workplace injuries or illnesses.
• Investigate safety incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures.
• Conduct safety audits, ergonomic assessments, and hazard inspections to maintain compliance.
• Develop and deliver OSHA safety training programs for employees and leadership.
• Lead and support safety committees, ensuring effective implementation of safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records for workers compensation claims and coordinate with healthcare providers.
• Manage first aid stations and emergency response equipment.
• Facilitate workplace safety programs, including KYT and Yorisoi activities.
• Develop and maintain emergency evacuation procedures and safety compliance reports.
• Guideworkplace accommodations and medical restrictions in collaboration with HR.

Experience and Education Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)is required .
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in occupational health, workplace safety, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Strong ability to draft and edit reports, deliver presentations, and conduct employee training.
• Ability to assess risks, develop solutions, and implement preventive measures.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to drive company-wide safety initiatives.
• Ability to work variable hours, including occasional shifts to support different work schedules.
• Must be able to respond to medical emergencies, lift medical equipment, and conduct workplace safety inspections.
