Overview The Job in a Nutshell: We're seeking a skilled Mobile App Developer to join our team, responsible for designing and developing high-quality applications for iOS and Android platforms. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll translate requirements into technical specifications and lead development efforts. Your role includes ensuring application performance, security, and usability, staying updated with the latest trends, and maintaining clean, reusable code. This position is hybrid on-site and requires a minimum of 2 days working from the SSC Golden office. Applications are accepted by the date below, which may be updated if the hiring timeline is extended. 03/21/2025 Responsibilities Main Ingredients: Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, loyalty, IS) to gather and analyze requirements, then translate them into technical specifications Also act as an interpreter to translate technical details to a non-technical audience. Contribute to UI design efforts to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience Manage all components of the Natural Grocers mobile application for iOS and Android Maintain the security and upkeep of servers to ensure the reliability and safety of data transmission and storage Develop and implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other threats Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile app development trends, tools, and technologies Optimize application performance and implement security best practices Write clean, readable, reusable code with good documentation Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain the functionality of existing applications Although this is a general outline of job responsibilities all employees are expected to be “hands on” and do whatever it takes to get the job done and make the company thrive. Qualifications Recipe for Success: Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and 4 years in related field (or equivalent work Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and 4 years in a related field (or equivalent work experience) Proven experience as a Mobile App Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful mobile applications Proficiency in Flutter (other programming languages a plus, such as Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin) Solid understanding of mobile app development frameworks, design patterns, and best practices Experience with mobile app testing, debugging, and performance optimization Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools A solid understanding and experience with of APIs (Ajax, REST, Web services, XML, JSON, JSONP) Experience with relational database Systems with an emphasis on MySQL. Proficient at T-SQL. Experience with Redis Experience administering Docker containers in Azure Experience with Active MQ, Rabit MQ, and other messaging services. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously Creativity, enthusiasm and energy with a strong customer focus Familiarity with Azure server administration and security best practices Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience with Jira project management software This job description is not an employment contract.
