Pay rate: $ 33.00 / hour

We have partnered with a manufacturing company in the Auburn, WA area to provide them with a Machinist. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Must Have Skills of the Machinist:

#1. 5 years manufacturing experience and experience in a similar position required.

#2. 2-year vocational technical training in the machinist trade with CAD & NC Programming experience preferred.

#3. Proficiency in using CAD/ NC software: CATIA V5 and or Solidworks, Mastercam and or Surfcam.

Requirements for the Machinist:

• A High School Diploma or GED is required. Preferably, candidates will have completed a 2-year vocational technical program in the machinist trade, including experience with CAD and NC programming.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, with specific experience in a similar role, is essential.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, particularly in fast-paced environments.
• Proficient in using PC software, including MS Windows and Office applications.
• Skilled in using CAD/NC software such as CATIA V5, Solidworks, Mastercam, and Surfcam.
• Competence in reading blueprints, along with intermediate knowledge of specifications and processes.
• Solid math skills, including the ability to use a calculator effectively.
• Good understanding of G-code (and M-code, if relevant).
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.

Other Key Requirements:

• 100% onsite, in-office role.
• Scheduled: either four 10 hour days Monday through Thursday 6 am to 4:30 pm or five 8 hour days. Start time anytime between 6 am to 8 am Monday through Friday.
• No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
