If you have your P&C and 1+ years of experience in Personal Lines, and want to grow your career, this is the agency for you! They will train you extensively to know the business inside and out with the owner.
Only candidates with 1+ years of experience in either personal lines or commercial lines and who have their P&C license will be considered.
You'll be working fully onsite for the first 6 months for training in bonds, certificates and accounts, then transitioning to a hybrid schedule.
The salary range for this position is $45,000-$50,000. You'll also have fully paid Medical and Dental premiums paid for by the company as well as a 3% 401k match.

Our well established agency is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and experienced Licensed Junior Commercial and Contract Surety Account Manager to join our team! This role is pivotal in assisting Senior Account Managers in building, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and brokers, and ensuring a high level of service delivery. You'll be handling the bonds and backing up the Certificates Specialist as well. It's a multi-faceted role where you'll be able to assist in multiple areas!
Responsibilities:
As a Junior Commercial and Contract Surety Account Manager, you will be tasked with the following:
1. Supporting Senior Account Managers in their books of business, ensuring all aspects of the account are handled efficiently and effectively.
2. Develop, negotiate, and execute surety bonds and related contracts.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
4. Work closely with underwriters and other team members to assess risks, determine pricing, and make recommendations on underwriting decisions.
5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and changes that may impact the surety business.
6. Prepare Certificates of Insurance when the team member is on leave and as needed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Junior Commercial and Contract Surety Account Manager role will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of nearly 1+ years of experience in personal or commercial insurance.
2. Must be a licensed agent with your P&C.
3. Strong knowledge of surety or bonds a plus!
4. Excellent relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and brokers.
5. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate contracts and resolve disputes.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
7. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and AMS highly desired.
9. A high degree of professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
10. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
