Job Details We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to join our medical industry team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in skilled nursing and rehabilitation, with a proven track record of leadership and management in a healthcare setting. As a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facility, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care possible.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Manage and supervise all staff, including nurses, therapists, and support staff
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure the best possible care for our patients
- Oversee the financial operations of the facility, including budgeting and billing
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients and their families to ensure their satisfaction with our services
- Ensure that all safety and emergency protocols are in place and functioning properly
- Participate in the hiring and training of new staff members
- Monitor patient care and ensure that all care plans are being followed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator
- Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare regulations
- Experience in a healthcare management role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
- Familiarity with skilled nursing and rehabilitation practices
- Experience with financial management and budgeting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
