Position Summary:The individual will join a biodiversity science, with a focus on herbarium record use, and conservation genomics research team. The research of the lab focuses on understanding how plants respond to their environment in light of climate change, using genomics methods to update the conservation status of rare plants, and ethnobotanical projects. The primary duties of the laboratory manager are to help plan, organize, and conduct research in support of the mention research fields, as well as provide technical training to students, employees and volunteers in the lab. The individual will assist with a variety of tasks, not limited to managing day-to-day project-related operations, data collection and processing, data analyses, and databased management. This position is funded for a year and may be renewed for up to a total of two years.
