The Journeyman Marine Electrician installs, maintains, tests and repairs wiring, fixtures, and equipment for all electrical services aboard ship and in shipyard facilities, as well as applying general knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operationRequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
