Title: Form/Pattern Maker

Reports to: Plant Manager

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Create accurate molds for manufacturing purposes.

Starting wage: Up to $25/hr depending on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interpret part prints.


• Make CAD drawings to make forms/molds.


• Build molds according to blueprint.


• Cutting/trimming wood to fit design.


• Use correct tools for the job.


• Cleaning and maintaining work tools.


• Cleaning and maintaining safety equipment.


• Cleaning work areas at the end of the workday.


• Working in a safe manner and following all safety rules.


• Other activities or tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Previous woodworking experience required.


• Finish carpentry, furniture making, experience required.


• CAD experience required.


• Previous pattern making, form making experience a plus.


• Experience managing a small team a plus.

ATTRIBUTES:

• Position requires light to medium physical requirements including pushing/pulling, bending/stretching, and standing.


• Able to work with others as a team.


• Able to stand for 8 hours or more a day.
