Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid: 3 days in office; 2 days WFH)

Salary: $190,000+ annually (depending on experience)

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience handling matters arising under the Texas Clean Air Act and the Federal Clean Air Act . This role involves managing cases related to major federal environmental statutes and comparable laws and regulations in Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and provide comprehensive legal advice.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents.
• Handle matters arising from major federal environmental statutes and comparable Texas laws.
• Communicate effectively with clients and provide tailored legal solutions.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to work well under deadlines.
• Assume significant responsibilities and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with the Texas Clean Air Act and the Federal Clean Air Act.
• Proven experience in handling matters related to major federal environmental statutes and Texas laws.
• Strong research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
