Overview: AVT is offering a unique opportunity for the right person to begin or expand a career in the exciting and prosperous Audio / Visual System Integration industry. We are looking for an engaging person who has a background or interest the Audio Visual System integration business. The successful applicant will work as part of a team dedicated to fostering customer relationships and assisting in the proposal writing and account management leading to closing new project sales.

AVT is a highly respected leader in the design and installation of integrated AV systems. Examples of our projects include classrooms, lecture halls, monitor walls, corporate communication facilities, theaters and sports stadiums.

We are seeking an energetic individual that would like to expand their interest in the digital media industry and grow a new career as an AV System Sales Person. We will provide extensive training, including the latest media technology, to accelerate your ability to become a valued part of our system sales team.

Responsibilities:

The successful applicant:

• will need to interface with end-users, general contractors, electrical contractors, architects, etc. to develop solutions for new AV sales opportunities.
• is expected to meet with customers onsite to fully understand AV system requirements and do site assessments (photos, room measurements, etc.).
• should assist in developing pre-sales AV system designs to generate an AV bill of materials.
• will need to be able to accurately read and understand AV system drawings for consultant designed bid projects.
• will need to accurately estimate AV project labor (engineering, programming, onsite installation, etc.).
• will need to develop quotes and proposals to present to the customer and continuously work with customers after proposals have been submitted to close sales opportunities.
• is expected to write AV scopes of work and programming specifications that will be used as a guide for the installation of the AV project.
• is expected to lead meetings with internal project management, operations, and technical fulfillment teams to review AV projects.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
2. Sales Experience: Prior sales experience preferred but not mandatory
3. AV Design Capability: Ability to understand customer requirements for AV systems.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
