Job Details Shifts Available:
1st shift Thurs – Sat every other Wednesday 7am – 7pm
2nd shift Thursday – Sat every other Wednesday 7pm – 7am
3rd shift Sun – Tues every other Wednesday 7pm – 7am
Job Details:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Controls Specialist to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving automation control systems integral to our production process. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Controls Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and maintaining PLC and HMI software for new and existing equipment.
2. Designing and implementing control systems for manufacturing processes.
3. Troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment and controls.
4. Programming and configuring Allen Bradley / Rockwell PLC and HMI systems.
5. Designing and implementing VFD and control logic for automation systems.
6. Maintaining documentation of all electrical circuitry and control systems.
7. Collaborating with the engineering team to improve equipment and design modifications.
8. Conducting regular tests and inspections on all electrical control systems.
9. Ensuring all equipment and systems meet safety standards and regulations.
10. Providing technical support and training to other team members as required.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
1. A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with Allen Bradley, Allen Bradley / Rockwell PLC, and HMI systems.
3. Strong knowledge of automation controls programming with PLC & HMI programming experience.
4. Proficiency in Ladder Logic, Electrical Controls, SLC 500's, VFD, and Controls Logics.
5. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems in simple terms.
8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. A strong commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
