Job Details This position is responsible for leading the financial function for the mill site by providing reliable cost analysis, counsel and guidance to assist mill management in maintaining effective cost controls and meeting business objectives; by directly participating in the business planning process; and by implementing and interpreting corporate financial policy
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy: Develop and implement the financial strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives and long-term goals.
Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Provide accurate and timely financial analysis, including variance analysis, to support decision-making.
Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company's financial assets.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports to the executive team and the board of directors. Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
Cost Control: Implement cost control measures to optimize expenses while maintaining the quality and efficiency of operations.
Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws. Coordinate with external auditors as necessary.
Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with other departments to support their financial needs and provide financial insights to drive business growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Proven experience as a finance leader, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
Excellent understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
