DMHDDSUS is searching for a suitable candidate to serve as the grant manager for our Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Grants. This individual will provide operational oversight to the Federal Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Grants. The BJA Grants are competitive grants awarded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance to provide states with funding to address justice and mental health challenges. This position is located within the DMH/DD/SUS Contracts and Grant Management unit and reports to the acting Assistant Director for Grant Management. This position is responsible for grant reporting, management of deliverables, budget execution and program outcomes. This position works closely with a team of staff to ensure strong internal and external communication about the grant, ensure operational excellence in grant administration, and serve as a resource to the Division in best practices for grant administration. This position works closely with program staff and executive leadership to prepare the annual budget and will alert relevant parties risks/anticipated risks in the administration of the grant.
