Bell Bank Park Powered by Legacy Sports USA has an excellent and immediate opening for a Bartender at the Bell Bank Park Powered by Legacy Sports USA opening in January of 2022. Bell Bank Park Powered by Legacy Sports USA is a 320-acre multi-use family, sport and entertainment complex of outdoor and indoor team athletic facilities geared toward high-energy entertainment and sports in Mesa, Arizona.
**Responsibilities:**
The Bartender responsibilities include mixing and serving alcoholic beverages based on customer requests. Their duties include verifying the identification and age of customers, preparing and serving alcoholic beverages, accepting payment from customers, cleaning glasses and bar utensils and balancing cash receipts to record sales.
- *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Verify identification and age requirements of customers
- Must be able to multitask
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails
- Process payment from customers
- Clean glasses and bar utensils
- Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
- Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
- Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
- Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
- Knowledge of applicable State and Federal liquor laws and regulations
- Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails
- Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairings
- Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
- Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness
- Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
- Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Maintains inventory and stock of all supplies at all locations before and during events
- Maintains rules and regulations of Health and Sanitation Laws, as well as safe transfer/storage procedures
- Cleans and organizes equipment as needed
- Thoroughly completes all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
- Maintains service areas
- Follow proper reconciliation procedures in regard to inventory
- Adheres to company guidelines and house rules
- Ensure assigned areas are fully stocked and are ready for operation
- Execute all security, safety, responsible alcohol service and sanitation standards
- Responds and assists with all guest service issues concerning the food and beverage operation and notify the Food and Beverage Manager of all issues
- Answer customer questions about products or services
- Report issues with equipment
- Performs opening, closing and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines.
- Keeps workstation and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
- Follows and upholds all health codes and sanitation regulations
- Respond and assist in any departmental guest service issues
- Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
- Employs good safety, security, and sanitation practices
- Displays a positive attitude towards team members
- Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
- Assists fellow team members when necessary
- All other duties as assigned

- Must be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictates
- Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts
- Must be able to stoop, bend and perform extensive standing and walking including stairs
- Frequent lift/push/pull items and objects weighing 10-15lbs; occasionally lift/push/pull objects weighing 30-60lbs; rarely lift/push/pull objects such as kegs of beer, weighing up to 100-120lbs
- May be required to perform diverse physical tasks
